LoveBug Creations Friday

Hello Lovebugs!!
Connie here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!
On Tuesday I posted page one of a layout I created for Die Cuttin' Divas. I promised you I'd be back with page two and well here I am. And best yet I adorned it with some delicious Red Sheer Ribbon from the LoveBug Christmas Release Christmas Candy.

Isn't it cute? I tied it in a bow and hung one of the snowflakes from it with a tiny white safety pin. Love the way the sheer ribbon glimmers!!

And here are both of the pages together just in case you missed Monday's post or for those of you that saw the post but would like to see them together.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!

Die Cuttin' Divas #150 Winter Activity

Hello Divas!!
Time for a new challenge and a new post from us at the Die Cuttin' Divas Design Team!!
Our Diva challenge this week is #150 Winter Activity.  It's been cold enough out there that I am sure we all have lots of chilly winter activities planned or already completed these past few weeks. So this one should be easy!

This is my family playing in the snow back in 2010. I wish I had current photos of us in the snow, but that is the last time I have seen snow. The downside to living in So Cal I guess. I love the vibrant red with the blues and white. I knew I needed to finally scrap these pics when I heard this week's theme!!

I cut both the snowflakes and the title on my Cameo using SCAL. The font is called Snap and the snowflakes are actually on the Scal software. I used a gorgeous sparkle paper for them and in real life it really pops.

Other items used:
Clara Lane Border from Kiwi Lane Designs
Storytellers Club Kit
AC Cardtstock
pop dots

Come on back in a day or two to see page two and the finished 2 page layout!

Be sure to check out our other amazing Diva projects at Die Cuttin' Divas.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

And remember you only have a few more days to enter my personal challenge this month, Time After Time! Hurry!

Connie here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!

I really enjoyed creating this fun candle for a friend of mine. She has a therapy dog named Daltrey and he is a Labradoodle. He is such a character.

I wanted to create an image that looked similar to him so I traced an image I found online with my Silhouette and cut it out with vinyl. I also found this cute saying online and recreated it and cut it out in vinyl.

The LBC Halloween Grunge Rumple Ribbon was the perfect color combination for the colors of vinyl I used. I added a pretty flower and pearl on the lid to finish it off. I think it turned out pretty awesome. Don't you?

Die Cuttin' Divas #149 Penguins

Hello Divas!!
Time for a new challenge and a new post from us at the Die Cuttin' Divas Design Team!!
Our Diva challenge this week is Ch#149: Penguins.  Penguin Awareness Day is Monday, January 21st.  In Honor of this day, make a project and include a penguin.

This is my attempt at a wine glass and boy was it a challenge! I had the most difficult time trying to get my penguin to stick to the glass flat and without bubbles or creases. Not sure if I see more of these in my future or not. LOL! So kudos to all of you out there in crafty land that have mastered this!

I cut both the penguin and the saying on my Cameo using a file from the silhouette store. It was designed by Samantha Walker Designs and it is really cute.

That's right!! Right now everyone is Keepin' Cool!
So here's a cheer to keep you all warm!

Be sure to check out our other amazing Diva projects at Die Cuttin' Divas.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

Grab your favorite hot beverage and a warm blanket because we are about to Chill Out!!

I could not resist creating this adorable mini album using a file from our very own sponsor, Creative Kutz. This was such a fun file to play with! He was all decked out for Christmas but I changed him up and made him perfect for Winter!

My Chilly Willy Penguin Album has the front and back cover as well as 4 inside pages.
He is 8 1/2 inches tall and about 7 1/2 inches wide. He was cut out very easily with my Cameo.

I used some glittery paper for his scarf and hat. Added some pop dots for dimension. Colored in some cheeks for him and used Glossy Accents on his eyes.

Here you can see all the pages spread out. I really like that I had some fun ribbon in my stash that matched the colors I used perfectly! Oh and I topped him all off with some fun black skittles from ABusyBee Creations.

I hope you love him as much I do! He's pretty darn cute!

Up next is The fun and oh so talented Ellen (CardMonkey)

Hello fellow lovebugs!!

Connie here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!

I know that Christmas is over but remember I still had a few gifts I created to share with you.
This one is for my friend Kathy. She loves snowman and collects them and I am always happy to add to her collection.

I loved seeing all the wonderful ornaments all my fellow crafters were making this Christmas. So I thought I would give it a whirl too. This is my first ornament with a glass ball and vinyl.
I topped it off with gorgeous Sheer Ribbon from LoveBug Creations in Winter Wishes.

I added some white sparkly glitter tinsel to the inside of the glass ornament. I love the effect and between you and me could not figure out how to get glitter in there!! LOL! And for the sweet face I used my Snow Friends Cricut Cart. Kathy's name and the date were cut out with my Lyrical Letters Cart.

LoveBug Creations Day

Hello fellow lovebugs!!

Connie here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!

I know that Christmas is over but I still have a few gifts I created to share with you.
This one went to my Uncle Mark. He said he wanted a Dreidel for Christmas. He hasn't had one since he was a young boy. So I decided I was going to make one for him with my silhouette.

I found a printable pattern for a dreidel online and traced it into my Sure Cuts A lot Program and was able to cut it out with my Cameo. It worked perfectly!! I painted a golf tee and a thin dowel (cut to size) a very pretty blue. And I added a glittery blue paper to the inside where the cutout letters are.

The golf tee was glued inside the tip, so the dreidel actually spins. And the dowel was glued onto the top of the golf tee. I tied a pretty blue Sheer ribbon from LoveBug Creations around the top. Uncle Mark loved it!! The only thing I didn't do was add money to the inside. Uncle Mark said they are supposed to come filled with cash. Now he loves to give me a hard time so maybe he's pulling my leg. I don't quite know, guess I need to look that info up! LOL

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!

Time for a new Monthly challenge here at Connie Can Crop.

It's time for Resolutions! Time for fresh starts! Time for celebrating a new Year!
My Challenge this month:
Time after Time
I want you to create a project featuring some sort of time representation. I am thinking clocks, Hands of clocks, hour glasses, pocket watches, Calendars. Get the idea? Just something that helps us tell time.

It can be on your paper, a stamp, an embellishment like a diecut or even a brad.

Please create one layout, card, or other project. Your layout can be single page or double page. You may use any other products you wish. When you are finished with your project please post it here in this thread.

Please remember I will only count two entries per person. (Just to be fair!)

Entries are due by Friday, January 31st at 11:59 pm.

I will draw one lucky winner from all entries and they will receive an awesome 6x6 paper pad and a matching washi tape from my shop.

AND don't forget the winner gets

a custom blinkie for you to display on your own blog!! YAY!

You need to link your project up below using Mr. Linky. You have until midnight January 31st to link it up.
I will draw one random winner. My winner will not be based on skill or talent, but based on just completing the challenge. Sorry but I can not ship to other countries. I would still love for you to play. However if you win, I will ask that you pay postage for the shipping charges.
